Noonan on Obama

Peggy Noonan has done it again! A provocative piece on a political figure. This time her genius is at work on Illinois Senator Barack Obama, whom she points out, is more about image than substance, at least at this point.

My take is that Obama will not win the nomination because his popularity is cresting too early.

Don't be surprised to see an Obama and Edwards ticket. Senator Clinton will be swept aside at the convention in favor of the ever increasingly popular Illinois Senator. If Al Gore pushes hard for the nomination again, then the Republicans will continue to occupy the historic home on Pa. Ave.

I agree. O'bama is angling for a VP slot.

Maybe an Edwards and Obama ticket, but not the reverse.
