Why Wear a Watch?
I quit wearing a watch five years ago. I haven't missed it a bit. Clocks are everywhere these days. If I'm in the car, I can look at the dashboard clock. If I'm at the computer...upper right hand corner. If I'm out walking in a store...look at my cell phone. I've reached the point of saying, "What's the point in owning a watch?" It makes no sense to me. Do you wear a watch? Why?

I do not wear a watch, mostly because it bugs me, a little, to wear a watch when I type.
I do, however, own several watches, and some of them are quite cool (most of them need batteries, though, 'cause I've not worn them in such a long time). And I like to look at watches, occasionally, when I am out shopping, and I would still say that a watch is a mighty fine gift.
