And I Thought I was a Diehard Cards Fan!

Troy and his brother are beyond diehard.

It breaks my heart everytime I see it.

Hey, Brett, two quick hits:

1. Did you go to Together for the Gospel and are you going again in '08? Perhaps we could hook up.

2. I'd love to hear your vote/analysis of the greatest Cardinal.

I saw all but Dean play in St. Louis at Sportsman's Park and Busch Stadium(the round one),and Musial was the best player period. A gazelle in the field and on the basepaths, and a hitter with an eagle eye and power to boot. Just check out the number of doubles he hit in his magnificent career. As good a clubhouse man as you could find. He was indeed "The Man!".

Gunny,

1. No, unfortunately I had other commitments, but I'd love to go in '08. I go to the Desiring God National Conference every year. Ever been?

2. Gibson and Musial are far above the rest of the field in my mind, but I would pick Musial as the greatest without a second thought. Gibson is easily second.

I've been to the Piper pastors conference and am going again this year (Feb 5-7). Sproul is the keynote speaker and it looks to be really good.

I really wanted to go to the Piper conference, but could not pull it off for a variety of reasons (including money). But, a buddy hooked me up with the mp3 action, which was sweet.

Some day, I'd like to go to the Shepherd's Conference put on by Johnny Mac, but I've yet to make that one.
